We live in a world where millions of people are starving. It is quite shocking to comprehend that why with all these advancements in technology, the suffering of people in many parts of the world doesn’t show any sign of decrease. The latest Global Hunger Index (2021) ranked India at 101st position out of 116 countries. Yes, millions are in misery and pain.

I started this humble but remarkable initiative called ‘Al Khair Foundation’ after seeing people in dare need during my profession as a doctor. I started it as a simple platform to help such most deprived sections of the society reduce their suffering and find a better way of life. We knew that we were not going to create a world free from poverty or suffering. But we believed that we were going to make some difference in lives of some people around us.

Every person has the right to lead a self sufficient and dignified life. This is Al khair’s simple philosophy. Our all services are founded on this philosophy. And we know with support of generous and kind people who want to do something for the needy, we can touch many lives with compassion and empathy and help them have a meaningful life.
